Current Mural Projects

Downtown Mural

Artist Harumo Sato has been commissioned to create a temporary mural at All Saints Episcopal Church, located at 555 Waverley Street in downtown Palo Alto.

Inspired by input from community members and the unique character of Palo Alto, the mural brings a sense of color, whimsy, and imagination to the surrounding streetscape. Sato’s design draws from elements of local life, history, and everyday moments, creating a playful visual experience that invites passersby to pause, look closer, and connect with the space in new ways.

This project is part of a series of temporary murals introducing fresh energy and creativity to downtown Palo Alto while highlighting the role of public art in reflecting the spirit of the community. The artist is expected to paint the mural in April 2026.
