Palo Alto Permit View

Palo Alto Permit View is a web application that makes looking up and researching permit activity within the City of Palo Alto simple. Search building, planning, and code enforcement activity by property address, date, or application type to support your property research needs.

Permit View replaces BuildingEye, which will be discontinued at the end of 2025. Subscribers to BuildingEye notifications will need to create a new account and create new notifications on Permit View since they are different systems.

Enhanced functionality includes searching by assessor’s parcel number, defining a custom geographic area for searches, and subscribing to email notifications based on a custom-drawn area. Additional features will continue to roll out through 2026.
