What To Know About Outdoor Performances

Audience members should bring a blanket or other low-ground seating option (no high-backed chairs that can block the view for our littlest audience members) and are welcome to bring refreshments. Food and drink will also be sold onsite by the Friends of the Palo Alto Children's Theatre.

Sensory-Friendly Performances

All performances at the Children's Theatre are open to all attendees, with any special needs. The Summer Hot Dog Season makes a great sensory-friendly experience, as productions are performed in natural light, with no loud sound cues - plus, the outdoor seating is wiggle friendly, with quiet areas nearby. On the second Thursday of each run, we will also adjust sound cues, to create a more relaxed audience experience.
