City of Palo Alto residents may be eligible for the Fee Reduction Program, which offers a 50% discount on program fees based on household income. City of Palo Alto employees and children of City of Palo Alto employees may also receive these discounts.
A $600 subsidy cap will be applied per eligible youth, persons with disabilities, and seniors over 60 years of age, while eligible adults will enjoy a subsidy cap of $300. Discounts are available for most Art Center, Children’s Theatre, Junior Museum and Zoo, Recreation, and Open Space programs and memberships.
Application Process
Complete application and submit required eligibility verification documentation. Supporting documents (listed below) can attached to the form, or e-mailed to enjoyonline@paloalto.gov, mailed in, or dropped off at the Lucie Stern Community Center. Printed copies of the application are available at all registration sites. Discount is valid for one year. Participants must re-apply annually. Application forms will only be accepted after current discount has expired. Reductions will only be applied to future registrations.

Please provide one of the following):
- VALID (not expired) CA Drivers License or Identification Card
- City of Palo Alto Utility Bill
- Current Lease showing address
- Telephone Bill (landline)
- Proof of employment with the City of Palo Alto
- If you do not live in Palo Alto, but your child(ren)/dependents are enrolled in PAUSD, please provide proof of enrollment
Income Eligibility (Please provide one of the following):
- Current utility bill if a participant of the Utility Rate Assistance Program
- Current Social Services Award Letter (or Medi-Cal Card)
- PAUSD Free/Reduced Price Lunch Program documentation
- Two current pay stubs for all current earners
**If you do not have ANY of the above, please provide a copy of your previous years Tax Return (two years if self-employed)
If not applying based off income eligibilty, please include one of the following):
- Letter from M.D. or licensed letter from M.D. or licensed psychologist certifying disability status
- Disability documentatoin from the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Copy of your current Social Services Award Letter
