Summer Camps

The Community Services Department provides a wide variety of summer camps for children from the Children's Theatre, Art Center, Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo, and our Recreation Division. View the summer camp catalog below or on Enjoy! online.

Summer Camp 2026 Registration

Resident registration: February 5 at 10 a.m.

Non-resident registration: February 12 at 10 a.m.

Attendance & General Registration

Before attending any of our programs please make sure your camper is registered. 

Online registration is available via Enjoy! Online, or by submitting the form below. Registration is not confirmed until payment has been processed. A receipt of payment will show in your transaction browser on your Enjoy! Online account. If you have been charged but do not see a receipt, please reachout to enjoyonline@paloalto.gov ASAP.

Please note that we will not be able to provide any refunds or make-up classes due to absences.

The form below opens on February 5 at 10 a.m. (or February 12 for non-residents). Forms will be processed in the order in which they are received. Please allow for up-to 48 hours for processing. Forms submitted by non-residents before February 12 will be processed after non-resident registration opens. Submitting a form does not guarantee enrollment in a Summer Camp.

Withdraw Requests

Withdraw Policy: Requests must be made, in writing, by Monday at noon 2 weeks prior to the start date of the camp to withdraw and receive a refund. As with our seasonal withdrawal fee, the customer will have the option to receive the entire camp fee as credit on their account or pay a $15 processing fee per camp, per child, for a refund to their credit card. Withdraw requests received less than 2 weeks prior to the start date will not receive a refund.

To make a request to withdraw from a camp, please e-mail enjoyonline@paloalto.gov and provide the following:

  • Full name of camper
  • Camp you wish to withdraw from (providing the session code and dates will help ensure we remove your camper from the correct camp)
  • How you would like your refund processed
    • There is a $15 processing fee, per camp and per camper, for refunds back to your original form of payment
    • You may request funds back to your Enjoy! Online account as a 'user credit' to use toward a future enrollment, there are no processing fees for this option.
      • Please note, requests for user credit to be refunded back to you at a later date, will be assessed the processing fee.

If you have multiple campers/camps you need to withdraw from, that information can all be included in the same email.

Transfer Requests

Transfer Policy: Requests must be made by Monday at noon 2 weeks prior to the start date of the camp to request a transfer to a different camp. As with our seasonal transfer requests, some transfers will be a direct transfer over with no cost difference. If there is a cost difference, we will refund you the amount owed upon transfer approval OR charge you the difference upon transfer approval. Transfer requests received less than 2 weeks prior to the start date will not be approved. If you were on a waiting list for a camp and received an invite to enroll but are enrolled in a different camp that will conflict, please request a transfer.

To request to transfer from one camp into another, please e-mail enjoyonline@paloalto.gov and provide the following:

  • Full name of camper
  • Camp they are currently enrolled in (providing the session code and dates will help ensure we remove your camper from the correct camp)
  • Camp you would like to transfer into (providing the session code and dates will help ensure we enroll into the correct camp)
  • If you need to pay the difference, please make sure you have at least 1 saved card on file and provide the last 4 digits of the card you prefer us to use.
  • If there is a difference where we have to provide you a partial refund, we will refund back to the original card used.

If you have multiple campers/camps you are doing transfers for, that information can all be included in the same email.

 

Waiting Lists

If the program you are interested in full, you may place your child's name on the waiting list. In the event waiting lists grows and if resources permit, another camp may be added to accommodate participants off the waiting list. If someone withdraws and a spot in the camp opens, we’ll contact the first participant on the waiting list. If offered a spot, you will be given a deadline to register and complete payment. If the deadline has passed and payment was not completed, your spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list.

Drop Off / Pickup

Parents, guardians, or care givers may drop off or pick up their child. There will be designated spots for drop off and pick up of participants for each camp. Please check your welcome letters for more information.
