Project Description

Replacing asbestos cement and other aging pipelines with high density polyethylene mains.

Scope

The work  performed under the contract included installation of approximately 8,000 linear feet of new water mains of various sizes, 124 new water services, 17 new fire hydrants, 22 isolation valves, and 101 water meters. The new main sizes range from 8” to 12” in diameter. The new mains were installed by open trench or by horizontal directional drilling methods.

Project Timeline

The project duration was approximately 162 working days.  

Construction started in December of 2023 and ended in August of 2024.
