Report near-misses you’ve experienced on streets in and around Palo Alto. The street story platform allows you to record travel experiences, including crashes, near-misses and places you feel safe or unsafe. Once a record is entered, the information is publicly accessible with maps and tables that can be downloaded. Data will be used by the Palo Alto Office of Transportation to help identify locations for enhanced safety treatments.
To use the map, choose to give input about a specific location (point) or a stretch of road, sidewalk or pathway (line). Submit a report by zooming to select a map location, using the left toolbar to type and search for an address, or clicking to use your current location, then answer the questions that follow.
