The Rhinoceros Project (Michelle Wilson & Anne Beck)
A participatory art project using community sewing circles to build large embroidered maps of historic routes across California and Mexico. Participants of all ages and skill levels are invited to contribute stitches that connect personal experience with layered histories of place and movement.
Palo Alto is included as a key site along these historic routes, bringing the project into direct dialogue with local history and community.
