The Palo Alto Community Survey is a feedback tool that helps the City Council and City staff understand community perspectives on current services and programs, as well as unmet needs and priorities. The survey was initially sent via mail on August 13 to a random sample population of resident households. On September 15, the survey opens citywide.
Paul Carey (1904-2000) was active in the Bay Area art world all his life. He grew up in a home on Lytton Avenue, attended local schools and was in one of the first classes to graduate from the present Palo Alto High School. Carey eventually moved to the East Bay and worked in San Francisco, but he maintained many Palo Alto roots. He was primarily a landscape painter.
