“Approach” is an undulating piece that dramatically fills and enhances the VMware campus plaza. Inspired by the iterative nature of VMware’s software solutions and fractal geometry, the sculpture also echoes patterns found in the regional natural settings of the sloughs winding through the Palo Alto Bay wetlands.
