The Palo Alto Community Survey is a feedback tool that helps the City Council and City staff understand community perspectives on current services and programs, as well as unmet needs and priorities. The survey was initially sent via mail on August 13 to a random sample population of resident households. On September 15, the survey opens citywide.
A geometrically abstracted figurative sculpture honors the memory of William Bliss, a passionate cyclist and highly respected advocate for bicycle safety. The sculpted figure and bike are focused toward the wetlands in a pose that is relaxed and contemplative. Located at a busy section of the Bay trail the artwork adds an element of surprise inviting cyclists to stop and take in the view.
