Lytton School

Walter Buhler (1936 - 2009) was a Palo Alto-based artist and teacher, who grew up in Minneapolis and came to the Bay Area to pursue an interest in art and studied with Richard Diebenkorn and Nathan Oliveira. His strong interest in architecture is expressed in his paintings of buildings and places, some of Oregon and some of California seaside communities and others closer to home in Palo Alto.
