Seattle-based artist Susan Zoccola creates sculptural and architecturally integrated installations for public spaces. Passage, a series of five colorful sculptures installed along Charleston-Arastradero corridor in Palo Alto, is inspired by diatoms, a single-celled algae forming a silica-based cell wall, also resembling a bike wheel.
