Born in Oakland, CA, Humphrey is highly-regarded artist and renowned printmaker. She is particularly respected for her work in lithography. Many of her works are informed by the feminist art movement of the 1970s. Humphrey’s art has been exhibited and collected worldwide and now resides in the collections of the MoMA, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and others.
