Scrapers

I have never made many prints. I found monotype processes more direct and spontaneous, and more to my liking. With the encouragement and guidance of artist Kay Bradner I printed several series of large and small-scale monotypes in the 1980s. Scrapers, 1984 is representative: it indicates my painterly use of the press to show trail marks of gesture made by a simple machine template.
