Say hello to September with a month full of ways to connect, explore, and have fun in Palo Alto. From community gatherings to recreation, learning, and seasonal celebrations, there’s something for everyone.
Wetlands Musings is an aerial view of an imagined restoration of the wetlands around Corkscrew Slough in the San Francisco Bay, near Redwood City, California. To understand the land forms and water channels of a natural wetland, I studied historical black and white photographs of this area taken before the wetlands were converted to salt ponds. The colors were chosen after observing Greco Island, one of the few untouched wetlands remaining in the bay.
