Window Series

Lee Michael Altman's artistic influences were the nature mysticism of the painters Mark Tobey and Morris Graves and the poet Theodore Roethke. In the early 60s he studied poetry with Elizabeth Bishop and Galway Kinnell. He completed his MFA at Stanford University where he studied with the painters and printmakers Nathan Oliveira and Frank Lobdell.
