The Palo Alto Safe Routes to School Program - Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education
The Palo Alto Safe Routes to School Program coordinates bicycle and pedestrian safety education.
As the number of students who use different types of transportation to commute (for example: walking, biking, carpooling, and transit) has risen over the years, the scope of the City's Safe Routes to School education offerings has grown.
Curriculum supports PAUSD-approved student transportation safety, health and wellness policies. Given the evolving nature of traffic safety education, please email Saferoutes@PaloAlto.gov for the most recent sample of any of the curriculums identified in the link above.
